It was a cold winter day, February 2000, when I got into the plane, which was coming here in Toronto, Canada. It was a big day for me-the day I had to leave behind all my friends, relatives, and my precious childhood memories. I did not know what to expect. As the plane left the ground and flew high towards the infinite blue sky, I realized that my life would be forever changed.
