Israel Conflict
The Palestinian-Israeli conflict is an ongoing circle. Through the years and continuing into the present, it seems that every time one player makes a step toward peace another one of the players sabotages the peace process. There are many players who contribute to this never ending circle. Each so-called side, Palestinian and Israeli, is itself split into many groups. Neither Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu nor Palestinian Authority President Arafat has the undivided support of his people. Even the United States cannot come up with a clear plan to break this destructive cycle. In this essay, each of these dilemmas will be discussed.
First, this conflict goes beyond the simple division of Palestinian versus Israeli. Within each of these groups are sub-groups with very different ideas of what would be an acceptable solution.
