Research methods
As lot of my research was based on the physiology of diabetes, a lot of it was secondary research that I picked up from the internet. Secondary research is often the easiest and least expensive form of research as it is information that already exists somewhere and needs not be collected. It may be a study, a group of articles on a topic, or demographic or statistical data gathered by someone else. Because secondary research already exists, no specific scientific method or technique is needed to collect information. Instead efforts are spent locating and gathering information from reliable sources.. Many of the resources listed below, such as magazines, trade associations and government resources, often have materials available online reducing the cost and increasing the time effectiveness of obtaining the research.
