Senator John Forbes Kerry is running for Democratic nomination in the 2004 presidential race. Kerry is running against many other Democrats for nomination, and if selected, will run against the Republican candidate, George W. Bush. All of the candidates are concerned with many of the same issues, but each has their own opinions and ideals on each of these issues.
One of Kerry’s slogans states:
“I’m running for President to make the country we love safer, stronger, and more secure. I’m asking every American to be a citizen soldier again committed to leaving no American behind.”
This slogan helps many citizens to see the big picture of what Senator Kerry wants to do as President. In John Kerry’s Iowa and New Hampshire campaigns, he is stressing four major themes: electability, national security, health care, and tax cuts. Along with these four main themes, Kerry has a “First 100 Days – Complete Action Plan.”
“…I want to lay out some of what I’ll do in the first hundred days of a Kerry Administration to make the Real Deal a reality. In the weeks ahead, I’m going to lay out an Action Plan for the First 100 Days. The specific steps will take
