Andrei Chikatilo, also known as “Forest Strip Killer” “Citizen X” and “Lesopolosa” was born on Oct. 16, 1936 in Yablochnoe, Ukraine. When Andrei was a little kid his mother always told his sister and him how his older brother, Stepan, was kidnapped and cannibalized in 1930’s. No record exists of Stepan’s birth or death, no proof that he ever existed. Andrei’s mother told the story so convincingly that her kids actually believed her.
