Influences on Ethan
Ethan Frome is a book written by Edith Wharton, in which Ethan is the main character. Throughout the story, Ethan seems to get himself into more trouble as he find ways to hide his feelings toward Mattie and Zeena. With Ethan’s troubles building up, minor characters began to become scapegoats for him. In Ethan Frome, Denis Eady, Jotham Powell, and Andrew Hale influenced the outcome of Ethan’s life in the story.
