    CONTEMPORARY GYNECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS DECONSTRUCTION Throughout history, women have been struggling for their rights and for their freedom. They have been marginalized and dehumanized by men in the society. Women had to fights for their rights such as voting, education, property, humanity and for a status in the human society. Today when we look around and read the newspaper, we can see that things have been changed for women. Women has achieved a lot since the past. There was a time when women were not allowed in the professional careers. Education was only the right of men, but today, women have been able to gain higher and higher education and has adopted careers such as lawyers, doctors, engeneers and even positions in politics. Does this mean that women has gained equality and are as equal as men today ? or are we still fighting for our rights? Its true that things have changed for women and we have occupied a status in the society but we are still not equal to men. Everything around us is biased. This bias is, of course, not unique to the western world but is prevalent in all countries throughout the world.
