Muslims believe in the revealed books mentioned in the Qur’ an which are Zabur, Tawrat, Injil, and Suhufi Ibrahim. Zabur are the Psalms of David, Tawrat is the Torah of Moses, Injil is the Gospel of Jesus, and Suhufi Ibrahim are the scrolls of Abraham. The Hadith is what the prophet Muhammad said and did. The Sunnah is the book of rules and regulations of Muslim life. These are the ways by which Islamic belief and practice are regulated.
The Five Pillars are the duties expected of every Sunni believer from the age of fifteen. Some Muslim theologians added the sixth pillar of jihad (“holy war”). Shi’ a Muslims make recognition of the Imam as a pillar as well.
