I tried for this project to reflect very different worship services. Most were Adventist including PMC, All Nations, Bet-Benai Shalom (a Hebrew Adventist Synagogue), however one service was a catholic prayer service called Tenebrae. All of the services had similar things, such as prayer, scripture readings and such. However the styles of the services were very different. While the Tenebrae service and the Hebrew Adventist Synagogue were more oriented towards liturgical prayer and scripture, the All Nations Church and PMC were more oriented towards the Sermon consisted of about 1/2 to 2/3 of the service. In my personal worship style I do appreciate a good sermon or homily, however I find more personal spiritual enlightenment in the liturgical style of worship. While I am aware that a lot of people look more forward to a sermon the most of the rest of the service I do know that I am not alone in feeling blessed by the liturgical side of worship service.
