Nederlands Dans Theater On Wednesday, March 31, 2004, I attended the Orange County Performing Arts Center to see the Nederlands Dans Theater perform. This was a dance performance that I will never forget. The concept that was used most when putting the pieces together was the use of time. Whether someone did something slow or fast, one never really knew how much time had passed. Each piece was completely different from one another and it was incredible to me that all of the pieces were choreographed by Jiri Kylian and composed by Dirk Haubrich. The first piece was entitled Claude Pascal. There were four dancers that portrayed more of a theater aspect. These dancers were dressed in black and held white props. This added a very nice effect to the dance. They would have movements that went to the music. Some of the movements were sharp, while others were soft and smooth. Every time that the music made a creaking noise, they would turn the set to either fa
