“Martin Luther King and his View of the American Dream” Introduction The reason why I have chosen the topic “Martin Luther King and his view of the American Dream” for my research paper has its roots in my early childhood. My mom was very impressed of King and read picture books about him to me. Also during my exchange year in the United States, Minnesota, in the summer of 1999, I had the opportunity to discover several things about “The American Way of Life”. To show my disagreement with the situation I went to church with the Mexican people on Sunday evening instead of going together with my family.
