Bradley Nowell vs. Jimi Hendrix
Bradley Nowell and Jimi Hendrix are talented and popular musicians who are considered two of the greatest guitarists who ever traveled the radio waves. Their music possesses unique qualities that sparked the interests of people around the world. Musicians have adapted similar styles to Nowell and Hendrix in hopes of becoming as popular as they were. Despite their differences from one another, they shared several striking similarities.
Bradley Nowell and Jimi Hendrix are from the west coast. Nowell was born on February 22, 1968, in California. He grew up in a broken home, and he had an attention disorder which led him to drug use at an early age (‘Lovin’s’ 1). Hendrix was born on November 27, 1942, in Seattle, Washington. Hendrix spent his adolescent years teaching himself to play the guitar. Years of listening to B.B. King, Muddy Waters, and Chuck Berry infused elements of blues into his musical style (‘Jimi Hendrix’ 1). Nowell on the other hand, was influenced by KRS one, Bob Marley, EZE, Beastie Boys, and several other musicians. Nowell and
