U.S. Involvement in Latin America For some reason, it seems that the United States always finds itself involved in Latin American countries such as El Salvador, Costa Rica, or The Dominican Republic. Though the constant reasons that come up always make it seem as if the U.S. is there to help, I wonder at times for the real reasons of it’s involvement.
