In the story “The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet” William Shakespeare has a different purpose or meaning he wants each specific character to display. The character I chose was Tybalt, a Capulet. He portrays hatred towards the Montagues. Though the Montagues are the Capulets greatest enemy, Tybalt just wants to duel it out every time he sees a Montague. Whether the person is walking down the street to selling goods in the marketplace. The fact is ‘he hates Montagues’.
At the beginning of the story a quarrel is going on between the Capulets and Montagues. Benvolio a Montague justs wants to keep peace between the families, or if not put up your swords. Tybalt replies
