Ethics in Society
It has occured to me , friends, that, as citizens in a free world society, there is an immediately looming nemesis threatening the very mode of our existence, the mode, I may no doubt safely say, which allows us to live in the pursuit of freedom, happiness, and, above all, life itself. This nemesis increases as society ages and as society progresses onward to the ultimate Valhalla of existence, the existence in which everyman is given equal tools of construction with which he builds a life and by a life, friends, I mean a significant life, one that will endure beyond his own existence, carrying his children on to even greater hieghts than himself. This nemesis comes in the poorly-disguised cloak of motor vehicle operation.
By a vast majority, we must all agree that there are far too many asinine motor vehicle operators in this great land called America, causing subsequently far too much pain and mortal heartache among intelligent, socially responsible operators, whom, I can blessedly say, are composed of most of my fellow citizens. But, gentle reader, we must surely not believe that since the percentage of asinine drivers is quite small that we can safely ignore them, for Satan's infinite legions are behind every thorn
