Many people believe that the human body is composed of two different parts- a soul and a body. When examined, physical characteristics and events come to light. The soul, which is much more difficult to observe than physical “stuff”, has been sought out for years in the world of philosophy. Three philosophers in particular (Hume, Reid, and Locke) have disputed their views on such questions as: What is the real you? Are you just a body? Are you just a bundle of perceptions? Is the real you actually a soul? All their ideas and views on the human soul are well thought out and possible.
