Currently, in America, it is very evident that corporations have a major influence on the government. In such a country that is very capitalistic in nature, it should be no surprise that corporations can have such power. Since it works within the interest of the government to serve their multinational corporations, they do so, otherwise they may loose them to other countries who are lenient with corporations. Many law changes and Supreme Court rulings have been made over the past century which have given corporations the advantages they have today and these advantages have rapidly increased over the past thirty years.
