U.S. Constitution
The world had never seen anything like the type of government the United States Constitution tried to establish. Although there were many individuals who were unsure of the constitution and did not totally agree with it, the United States learned to adjust and make governmental decisions based upon it. The Constitution is something very sacred to the United States because it was the first real establishment of our government. To prove how important this document is to our history I found this information “It was stored in various cities until 1952, when it was placed in the National Archives Building in Washington, D.C. During the daytime, pages one and four of the document are displayed in a bulletproof case. The case contains helium and water vapor to preserve the paper's quality. At night, the pages are lowered into a vault, behind five-ton doors that are designed to withstand a nuclear explosion. The entire Constitution is displayed only one day a year, September 17, the anniversary of the day the framers signed the document.” So as you can see just by that fact about the Constitution that no matter how many people don’t agree with it, it still has main importance to us Americans.
