It Happened One Night is a black and white movie set in the time period after the depression. The plot of this movie follows two main characters. The first character is named Ellie. Ellie is the only child and daughter of a very rich and powerful businessman named Mr. Andrews. The character Ellie’s personality is portrayed as a bratty, rich girl who thinks she is in control of any situation. The second main character, named Peter, is a newspaper reporter that has just recently lost his job for a New York City newspaper. Peter’s personality is much different than Ellie’s personality. Peter does not let things bother him, or at least does not let it show that things bother him.
