Crucible
Recently I finished reading the play The Crucible by Arthur Miller. While reading the play I was informed that it was not entirely historically accurate. Although this did not entirely surprise me, I did find it strange. Because from my knowledge of the Salem witch trials I knew that it was exciting enough without having to make up any information. It is also my firm belief that anything based on a historical event should be portrayed as accurately as possible.
Some of the main reasons to make movies, plays, etc. that are based on historical events as accurate as possible are: people watching might get the wrong idea about what actually happened during that time period and start
