Holocaust hypocrisy
American society heavily relies on hypocrisy. Since World War II, the German-Nazi regime has been condemned for their crimes against nature and their disregard for human life. And yet how many times have Americans had their finger on a trigger aiming directly at another race? How many times have influential political figures been the American complement to Adolf Hitler? The parallels between our patriotic massacres and the Shoah are startling. The significance of the holocaust is monumental because the citizens of the greatest nation on Earth have contributed to their own holocaust. They were silent and passive when their soldiers were instructed to annihilate. Yet because their attempted genocides were covered by the American flag, they were warranted. Society needs to closely examine the facts and accept that blood has been on their hands before, it’s happening now, and it could happen once again.
