Albert Einstein biography Born: 14 March 1879 in Ulm, Wurttemberg, Germany Died: 18 April 1955 in Princeton, New Jersey, USA Einstein was born on march 14, 1879 in UIM, Wurttemberg, Germany. The son of Paullina Koch and Hermann Einstein. He first realized the wonders of science at the age of four, when his dad showed him a compass. Einstein was impressed by the mysterious behaviour of the compass, and that no matter which way you turn it the arrow always pointed in the same direction.
