    “We’re at war, and you’re not listening.” was the rallying cry for many teens in Amarillo, Texas. Since the days when Cain and Abel's sibling rivalry came to a bloody end, humans have made themselves for their intolerance and narrow minds. We have murdered millions in the name of a god that we all have different names for; we have wiped out entire races for it. Humanity hasn't evolved much since the days of witch trials and public torture. The world around us has become automated and mobile while we stay the same. We have managed to learn to walk upright, and communicate, and send men to the Moon, still, we cannot seem to even begin to learn how to accept one another. In America, the majority definitely rules. At around 11:30 on the night of December 12th, 1997, in Amarillo, Texas, Brian Deneke was killed in the parking lot of a shopping center by Dustin Camp, he was nineteen years old. At the time, Camp was a seventeen year old junior varsity football player driving a 1983 Cadillac.
