Ishmael
1. The fundamental lie children learn in school pertaining to ‘how things came to be this way,’ was the main mythological fact that the man was made for the world contrary to the belief that the world was made for man as most children learned. Fundamentally the human race, being the intelligent and all-powerful people that they were, came to believe that world was for theirs for the taking, use, and consumption. A belief that Ishmael foretold in his effort to teach man about such a perilous doctrine. In his effort to describe ‘how things came to be this way,’ Ishmael provides the following concepts: Taker culture, Leaver culture, story, enact and Mother Culture.
The Taker culture, Ishmael described were the group of people that came to realize and develop knowledge and did what they did because it worked well for them for the sake of production to provide for themselves, make more things and make better things. This group of people Ishmael described tends to live the way they want to live who knows good from evil and force others around them to live as they live. This was the group that was considered to be the civilized ones. The knowledge this group of people possessed was the very knowledge of who lives and who dies
