Justification of Andrew Dufresne's Actions
Throughout history, men have made great efforts to spread their beliefs. In the movie Shawshank Redemption, Andrew Dufresne, made many attempts to spread his idea that a man has value. Even though in prison, a man is treated as if he is an animal, but a man is still a man and he has value and that can never be taken away from him. Andrew believed in this idea, that a man has value, that a man can still feel and be a man even when he is put in a situation that is degrading. Andrew spread this idea through his actions. In the bible Paul also made attempts to spread his own beliefs. Paul and Andrew Dufresne believed into different things, but they both made many attempts to spread their convictions.
