Music that Hurts Generations
What do you hear when you listen to a song? When we listen to the radio we hear songs that trigger basic emotions and reactions. Female artists that project the sexual image only hurt our future generations rather than helping them. Christina Aguilera and Jewel is a couple of the very people I am speaking of. This should be rectified soon or the damage could be already done.
Some female artists sing about the way they feel at the moment or just home much fun life can be. Other female artists sing about sex and getting down to it. It’s bad enough that a male artist sing about turning them on and then just leaving them there, but it becomes detrimental to society when female artists give in to the ideas that they have to sell themselves to make money. Many female artists give much more than the hint that they’re sex toys in their songs when they go so far as to pose half naked on their album covers. They also, to add to the situation pose shamelessly in magazines with little to nothing covering themselves.
Christina Aguilera contradicts herself often in her music. In her song “Genie in a Bottle” from her début album she talks about ‘rubbing her the right way’. Then she sings “I am beautiful no matter wha
