Croquet
Croquet is not usually considered to be an extreme sport, however, I learned otherwise. This sport should only be played by professionals or people who know the rules and objectives of the game.
When a child are six years old, he or she is always looking for something new and “cool” to do, my friend Scarlet and I were doing exactly that when we came across a croquet set. We didn’t know exactly what the set was at the time, but the mallets somewhat resembled our father’s golf clubs. We were very excited to find a new sport and were eager to play. We decided to make up the rules. Whoever could hit the ball the furthest would win. We each grabbed a mallet and a ball and went into the front yard. It was my turn. I gripped my mallet and swung at my red ball with great concentration. As I watched the ball zoom across the yard, I had assurance I would win the game. It was now Scarlet’s turn. I wasn’t paying attention to her swing overwhelmed by the newly asserted confidence I had gained from my swing. Then things went black.
