Exodus
This passage in Exodus reveals the supremacy of God preparing his people to receive the Law and The Guidelines for true living. After God rescued the Israelites from the Egyptians, he led Moses and the people to the Sinai Desert to learn obedience and the tragic consequences of breaking the rules.
In Exodus 19, 1-6, God leads the people as a protector; He is a loving and caring God, but also a God who expects to be trusted and respected. He wanted to make his people a holy nation even though He knew that some of them would not recognize or appreciate His grace. God is acting as the creator, the powerful, trusted and faithful One.
The Israelites are expected to respond to the message or comma
