Graphics evaluation
EVALUATION
For my graphics project I was asked to design a presentation pack for a new theme park containing a map, brochure and business cards.
Looking at my prototype I can see that I have had to make a lot of modifications. Therefore I did not achieve my original objective. However it is still very similar to the original and I still feel it attracts attention and fulfils the qualities of the packaging design I was trying to create.
During the design process my boxes lid was vandalised so I had to repair it which left my lid with a slight bend in it. Therefore the lid will not sit properly on the box. It still fits securely but not as accurately as I had envisaged it to be. This would be a simple thing to overcome as a modification.
I had originally intended to scan my chosen box logo into the computer and improve by using photo editor to smudge the colour and give a professional finish. I accomplished this easily. However I wanted to add text to the logo and a yellow shaded background using fill effects on the computer. Unfortunately I came across computer faults and had problems printing and actually putting together my logo with the text and background. So I overcome this by covering my box in yellow card then
