Blade Runner
Because androids are seen as a threat to society on earth, upon their escape Rick Deckard is brought back to duty to hunt them down and kill them. The advanced engineering of the androids gives them capabilities far superior to those of humans, and the fear of a society ruled by androids drives the citizens to push for their execution. This is a concept that I’m sure everyone has thought of at one time or another, and to me this book wasn’t really that interesting. The Time Machine was an idea that really caught my interest. I found The Time Machine to be very interesting because it was a concept that was even further off then that of Blade Runner. As our technology advances we move closer and closer to developing “androids” (sophisticated robots). I’m sure it won’t be long before we have robots like that in
