The three tenors

    In modern society, ¡°museum¡± plays an important role. From the observation of art works, People can get an idea how we developed, what we were doing at the past, and predict what will be in our future. However, the visitor¡¯s feeling after observation of museum can be different because we have all different social, cultural, and academic backgrounds. In my case, I felt the Louvre Museum which is located in France, Paris while I was traveling the Europe, and I believed that I have different feeling than others because of my unusual background as a Korean student who is majoring finance at United States. Throughout this paper, I would like to discuss my own feeling, and functional and cultural effects of the Louvre from my experience. Historically, the Louvre Museum was the palace of the kings of France from 14 century to 1628, and changed to one of the three world¡¯s major museum for the last two centuries that has original painting of Monna Lisa. When I had been arrived the main gate of the Louvre, I was able to feel the grandeur of palace from the external appearance of the museum.
