Life Is Beautiful

    “LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL” Most of us have heard about Hitler. We barely know about him and his Nazi movement but we hate him. Our knowledge is limited to Jewish persecutions in the 1940’s and we imagine Jews suffering to death in concentration camps. We all conceive the Nazi movement as a horrible episode in history, as a nonsense fight where men do not act like human beings. Some of us might have taken the time to place ourselves in that bloody scenario, some as a persecuted man, and others as a woman who sees how her husband is wrest away. War might be seen from diverse point of views, for example economical, social, ethical, or emotional perspective. However Roberto Benigni shares with us a magical perspective of this Jewish struggle for survival, he tells a story based in a kid’s emotions. The writer relays on a kid to demonstrate how grown-ups have led our world into a nonsense everyday fight. Roberto Benigni, born in Italy in 1952, was the younger in his family. He grew up in rural Italy. Economic times were hard during the post-World War II era, and the family lived without running water and electricity for much of Roberto’s childhood.
