King Tut
Almost everyone has heard of King Tutankhamen’s undisturbed tomb, but what many don’t know is how unusual his tomb really is. Unusual because it was so rushed to be completed. People have wondered and explored possibilities of why his tomb was so rushed. While many accept that his death was sudden, some believe that he may even have been murdered.
In 1922 Howard Carter discovered King Tut’s tomb. Carter noticed many unusual things about the tomb which suggested that it was hastily finished. First of all, ion some of the objects surrounding King Tut, other names had been scratched out and his had been scratched in. Second of all, there were sloppy paint splashes which could and should have been cleaned before the tomb was sealed. Third of all, King Tut’s corpse was sloppily embalmed.
