Many people believe that these days racism is not a very big issue, especially in schools. This is a fact proven to be wrong, several times. Racism is an issue that should never be avoided, especially when it deals with children. When a family immigrates to the U.S they hope to fit in with the rest of the Americans. Immigrant children go to school thinking that the biggest problems they will have to face is getting to know the other children or finding all of their classes etc. What they don’t know is that they will have to face a lot of bullying, rejection, feelings of mistreat and many other hurtful feelings.
