Macbeth scene summary

    In Scene 1 Banquo suspects that Macbeth has murdered King Duncan in order to gain the throne. Meanwhile, Macbeth is planning Banquos murder yet he is gracious and friendly towards him. He casually starts a friendly conversation with Banquo while trying to find out his plans for the day which will help him plan his friend‘s murder. Knowing that Banquo could father future King’s worries Macbeth . He wants to keep the throne and he does not want Banquo to have it or any of his siblings . He hires and manipulates two men to do his dirty work and kill Banquo and his son. Scene 2 is mainly about how the relationship of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth has changed from the beginning of the play to now.
