I was thinking that I wouldn’t have much to say about homelessness but I actually do. I have a friend who worked in a Pizza place in Berkeley, California, a place with many faces and beliefs, so to see a homeless in Berkeley is not strange at all. He used to bump into this homeless man that always asked for left over pizza, which he always got and through that connection they became almost friends. Until that day I had no idea that some people actually choose to give up their homes and jobs and not have any responsibility in life but to get through the day. But my friend was talking to this homeless man one day and he complained that he had had a “low” day, meaning that he hadn’t gotten much money, but he made close to $100 dollars. That’s more than a lot people that have responsibilities make.
