Author’s Objective: The author’s objective was to show the importance of forensic odontology to identifying people from dental bones and structures. The dentists accomplish the task of dental post-mortem examination. They piece together jaws and other structures to try to reconstruct the oral bones in a goal to identify a match to those dental records. Comparing post-mortem records with ante-mortem records is vital to constitute a match.
