In chapters 1-7 in the book of Romans, Paul begins to lay down the solid framework for understanding the broad scope of the gospel in his letter to the Romans. Paul, who was chosen to be an apostle to spread the Good News of God, begins his longest, most elaborate epistle by explaining the relationship between God and humanity.
