Position A: For many years the legalization of marijuana has been up for debate and I would like to lay this argument to rest through my paper. First I would like to state the first argument for the legalization. Marijuana, being what is commonly called a mild-hallucinogen actually allows people to in effect, “think for themselves.” This process of thinking for oneself is priceless. In fact, thinking for oneself is the first step to “waking up” one’s mind. The common misconception believed by the masses of American people is that they are actually awake.
