Honesty, Intelligence, morality, and charisma are what the public presumes all Presidential hopefuls to have. But why those characteristics, shouldn’t the public look at Presidential candidate’s views on issues and their experience as a legislature? The answer is simple, media companies abroad and domestically shape views of the public on what serious Presidential candidates should encompass. The press is responsible for creating a portrait of how the general public views candidates, dictates what exposure the candidates will have, and finally selects what topics the public will pay attention about in the election.
