Roe v Wade
Roe v. Wade is one of the most controversial court cases the Supreme Court has been faced with. The decision based on this case has caused a serious and long-lasting debate between "right to life" advocates who typically limit abortion to those rare cases where it is medically necessary to save the life of the mother, and the advocates of a "right to choose" who favor leaving all questions of pregnancy and its termination to the decision of the pregnant woman. After reviewing the text, the facts and opinions presented through the debate by Blackmun and Rehnquist enable one to see that the Roe v. Wade decision and advocating of pro-choice are the correct way citizens should view the controversial topic of abortion. (Current Issues and demanding Questions)
