    Eveline The story of Eveline is a story about a girl trying to escape her life. When her mother dies Eveline makes a vow to her that she will take care of the family. Her new life consists of caring for her siblings and the household. The problem is that her father is abusive and doesn’t want her to leave. If Eveline had been born a male instead of female, she might have escaped her unhappy home life, as her brother did.
