The doctrine of scripture was very inspirational in that it brought God words, books, and scriptures to newer and higher levels of understanding for me personally. It taught me the structure of the Bible, how it was written, and by whom. In this critique, I will be discussing the basic contents and format of the bible and explain how it is broken down for the many readers.
The content of the bible is very simple, yet complex in its wording depending on which version, we are reading. The Bible has several different versions, i.e., The New King James, New International, New Living, New Century, and New American etc. Even though there are many versions, the basic standard is based on God’s word translated for the ease and comfort of the Christian reader. The King James Bible is the most widely used bible amongst Christians. The reasoning behind the many different versions is
