Jefferson's Government Philosophy

    A nation cannot be successful without a government. All functions of a nation are based on the actions taken by that government. There are several different views on the way a government should be run or what type should be established. The ruling authority put in place by the citizens should rule for the citizens. Economic theory, which is also a delicate topic, is essential to a nation’s prosperity. An economy based on agriculture is most suitable for a country like the United States of America. Also tying into economics is the establishment of a national bank. In no way does congress possess the power to establish a bank for the people. As stated before, a government is critical for a nation to function. One that makes decisions with the people in mind is most prosperous.
