Discrimination in Golf
Should Women Be Allowed At Augusta National ?
Introduction
1. In today’s society, do you see any signs of discrimination ?
2. Maybe not as much as we saw in the 50’s and 60’s, but discrimination is still a problem
today.
3. At one particular world-renowned venue, Augusta National, where The Master’s tournament is held every year for professional golfers, there is discrimination of women into the club.
4. Women golfers have just as many rights to play at any golf course they choose to play at, but there is still a problem today with a “private men’s only club” discriminating against women.
5. I would like to give you an overview of what has gone on the past few years regarding this particular issue.
