John Fitzgerald Kennedy
John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born on May 29th, 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts. John F. Kennedy went to Harvard and graduated in 1940. Soon after graduating Harvard he decided to join the Navy. In 1943, his Navy boat was sunk by a Japanese destroyer. Although the boat sank Kennedy managed to get to shore, also rescuing another man with him to shore. After coming home from war Kennedy decided to pursue a career in politics.
He was a democratic congressman from Boston and in 1953 he advanced to state congressman. On September 12,1953 John F. Kennedy got married to Jacqueline Bouvier. While recovering from a major back surgery operation in 1955 he wrote a book called Profile in Courage, for this book he won the
