Skyscraper, the Movie
“Skyscraper”, the design, and development of Worldwide Plaza New York City.
Any Architecture project invariably has problems, aggravations, celebrations, dispositions, and eventually completions; any large scale architecture project has all these same characteristics with the added investment of hundreds of other people, this case in point speaks about the design, development, and ultimately the completion of Worldwide Plaza on the west side of Manhattans business district.
Worldwide plaza was a very intensive fast track office tower with additional residential tower. This project involved three different players: the Architect, S.O.M. New York City, with David Childes and the Project Architect; the Developer, Zeckendorf developers with Jack Schuster as representative; and the Contractor: HRH Construction N.Y.C. with Dominic Fontie acting as construction manager.
