Judaism and Christanity
The two faiths of Christianity and Judaism are remarkably similar to each other while maintaining discernable differences. The purpose of this writing will be to outline the fundamental similarities and differences of the two akin, yet divergent faiths.
There lie many similarities between the two faiths of Christianity and Judaism. One such parallel is that the Jewish Scriptures is Christianity’s Old Testament. Another would be the belief in that the Scriptures to be unerring, that is without error or fallacy. Finally, the both Christianity and Judaism share the same monotheistic God.
There are several doctrinal points that Christianity and Judaism fail to meet one another. One of the biggest differences is that the Jewish faith does not believe Jesus Christ is their awaited Messiah and Savoir. Nor do they recognize the New Testament as valid scripture. In addition, there are several key points in biblical doctrine that the Judaism fails to agree with, such as original sin.
