Lord of the Rings

    Literature and books have always been a major influence in my life. I have been recreationally reading since I can remember, and have loved it the entire time. Everything from Dr. Seuss’ One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish to Stephen King’s Dark Tower series, I hve been captivated by them all. The fact that there are so many options to choose from and no two of them exactly alike thrills me and makes me have a constant desire to read and discover more in the wide world of literature. This sense of discovery has landed me in some very strange books, books that are just plain weird and not particularly good. However, I have also found some very good books thanks to natural instinct and, for a large part, recommendations form my friends. One of the first of these recommendations was given to me in the third grade. At the time, I had been reading the shallow adventures of the Hardy Boys and other such elementary drivel. I did not really love any of the books I read and none of the books really seemed to have a particular calling, except this one. This book, written by and unknown to me, J.R.R.
