The Firm

    The Firm The Firm is about a 25-year-old man named Mitch McDeere. He had just gotten out of law school and was shopping around for jobs when he got an offer from, among others, a small firm in Memphis. He went to see how much they were offering, and their amounts got him in; they offered almost double what the other firms offered. Their excuse for this was that sicne they were a small firm, they had more to pay. There were only fourty-one lawyers, but the firm was worth a lot of money. In the end, he took the Memphis firm, no contest. He packed up his belongings, which wasn't much, and he and his wife moved down to Tennesee. His first day on the job, however, two lawyers died in a boating accident offshore of the USA. He went to both their funerals, and had his actual first working day a few days afterwards. He put in about one hundred hours a week for the first few weeks, and set company records for the most hours put in by a new person. Mitch was then confronted by a member of the FBI called Tarrance.
